Your story matters to me — you matter to me.
I show up to our time together just as you show up — fully human. I invite your laughter, and your dance, and your tears. I hold space for your expression, your experiences, your hopes, and your uncertainties — I hold space for you.
I sincerely respect that you are the expert of your own experience; so, I listen to you and respond with that in mind.

When we are together, my goal is that you feel comfortable to let your walls down, feel your emotions, trust your intuitive wisdom and return home — however that looks for you. I want you to feel safe within our therapeutic relationship to learn new things about who you are and to unlearn old things that are no longer aligned with you and your life. I help you feel secure in exploring and communicating what you have not been able to in other settings. As we envision a new path forward, I support you in taking the next steps that feel right to you.

Who you are is already enough and there is room for you here.

Education and background

I completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at the University of Calgary. Then I backpacked around the world while partnering with various philanthropic organizations to support communities in need - a journey that changed my life. My experiences abroad led me back to pursue a Master in Science in Educational Psychology in the field of Counselling Psychology.

I was raised in the Yukon Territory and I identify as someone with mixed ancestry (Tlingit First Nations, European, Chinese, and Vietnamese).
In response to my own journey and experiences, I became interested in and pursued research focused on decolonization through de-essentializing Indigenous relationality.

My research, and my own lived experience, have given me many valuable gifts and wisdom that I continue to grow in and share with those hoping to decolonize the self and the mental health field.
